Fort Klapperkop Soak in breathtaking views over Pretoria as we unpack the early history and geology of Pretoria! We also look at how the South African war shaped the town, the political climate, and the citizens.
Kruger House
We take the scenic route to Kruger House, stopping at a few landmarks along the way. Entry and a short tour of the presidency are included in the fee. We examine the legacy of one of South Africa’s most well-known figures.
Church Square
Discover the beating heart of old Pretoria, filled with stories, myths, legends, and quirky historical gems.
Ou Raadsaal
Marvel at the grandeur of the seat of the ZAR government. We have special permission to visit Kruger’s offices as well the as the council chamber or “saal.”
Final Stop: The Union Buildings
Wander through the magnificent gardens, stand before the towering Nelson Mandela statue, and gain insight into South Africa’s journey toward unity.
We return to Castle gate center with a quick stop at Magnolia Dell for a coffee at the legendary Huckleberry’s!
